Description
MOTAT Display Designer (G.J. Dunn) attending to mannequins representing Sir Edmund Hillary and Peter Mulgrew, dressed in polar clothes; striped scarf with initials 'ED' and 'T.A.C. 1956-8'; part view of tractor wheel on left. Note from another source : The scarf was knitted by Lady Hillary for Sir Edmund who wore it during the expedition. She later presented it to Harold Stone for the MOTAT display.
