Description
AA Membership Badge. Metal badge with wing insignia at the top and the AA emblem in the middle. The badge is convex in the centre. The "AA" is cut out of the metal, exposing the backing behind. The badge is oval in shape, tapering down at the bottom in the centre. There are two metal screws on either side, fixing the backing to the badge. Below the emblem is stamped "2B88825". The backing is a type of cement, painted gold. There are areas where the paint has flaked off where the backing material has deteriorated. There is a piece of rectangular metal with a hole cut in the bottom, with diagonal edges at the base. This metal piece is attached at the bottom of the badge by two metal screws. This piece bends outwards from the centre.
