Description

At Papeete a spare Hercules engine was kept with a shelf life of a year for engine changes for the Solent. On the occasion this image captures the Solent was ferried from Aitutaki to Papeete for an engine change with the assistance of a local crane. Leaving TEAL passengers on the islet of Akaiami for some days
