Description

Two letters and enclosed report by the Ministry of Defence. Report is a result of MoD surveys of the known tunnels in 1980 concluding that no aircraft were ever entombed in the tunnels. This finding supported other evidence showing the aircraft were either destroyed, sold or transferred. This is a copied version of the correspondence and report which was forwarded to Richard Williams.
