Description

Circular drink coaster. Constructed from two layers of tissue paper and a third layer of paper with a plastic backing. The coaster is circular with a scalloped edge with a thin blue border, 3mm from the edge. The background is white. In the centre is the crest of the Royal New Zealand Air Force 42 Squadron. It has a crown at the top, and a scroll at the bottom. In the centre is a globe showing New Zealand, with a bird in the centre. There is a light blue border around this, with foliage decorating the outside edge. Inside the blue border is white text which reads “SQUADRON / 42 42 / ROYAL NEW ZEALAND / AIR FORCE” Below this, printed in a white scroll with black text is “TARA KIUTA, TARA KI TAI”. The reverse of the coaster is blank.
