Description
Black and white original print taken by Albert Charles Boniface of the Tāmaki Bridge under construction. This bridge goes over the Tāmaki River in Otahuhu to Papatoetoe, now part of Great South Road. This bridge was originally built in 1851, and widened in 1932 by the Ōtāhuhu Borough Council and Manukau County Council.
Albert Charles Boniface worked for the Post Office for 40 years from 1929 - 1966 based in Auckland. He was also a keen hobby photographer and lived Otahuhu.
