Description

One Test token for testing the coin-box mechanism of "Penny in the Slot" public telephone call stations (or similar devices in private locations). Such tokens duplicated the allowable weight and size for a 1 penny coin. Used until about 1970. The token is made from plated brass. This example has has a circular hole in the centre.
