Description

Ambulance stretcher as in 2002.113. Ground rests are "V" shaped and are heavily bolted to the stretcher. This stretcher was used during WWII to transport patients in ambulances to the hospital. After the end of the war, it was used at Ellerslie sports grounds to transport injured rugby and league players off the field, until it was retired in 2002.
