Description
A green flight suit used by original owner. Garment is a mostly single piece with full length sleeves and legs. Collar has detachable insert with fur interior. Three stamps are present on the interior of detachable collar, one of a circle with an illegible number, "[crown logo] A.M / 174258", and the number "6". The collar is attached with eight brown buttons. There is a brown looped catch attached to either end of detachable collar. Attached part of of collar holds various button holes, and two brown buttons on the right side. On the exterior of detachable collar is hand-written in ink, "Yolande Brown". On the inside of the suit, near the collar is an inked stamp, "[crown logo] / A.M".
On the front of the flight suit is a long silver zip. A large pocket is on the left breast, with an interior pocket with a silver clasp inside. Beneath this is a smaller pocket, sealed with three brown buttons. Down each side of the suit is a zip revealing an interior pocket. On the inside of the suit of the right breast is hand-written in ink, "Yolande Brown". The interior of the zip is lined with brown buttons.
On each leg is an open pocket with a fur lined interior. On the bottom of each leg is a zip to open each leg. On the interior of the right leg is a stamp, "A.I.D [illegible]". There is also a singular brown button on the interior of the bottom of each leg.
Each arm has a zip at the bottom of the sleeve, with a brown button on the interior. Each armpit has ten green plastic holes in a triangular formation.
On the rear of the suit is a strap across the waist which can be adjusted with two metal buckles. There is a flap of material across the shoulder blades at the top of the suit's rear.
