Description
Hand coloured print of 'Tui' biplane, ZK-ADV on ground outside the Auckland Aero Club, Mangere. Pre building of Auckland International Airport. This aircraft was owned and built 1931-32, and test flown in 1934, by Fred A. N. North, Chief Engineer of the Auckland Aero Club. This aircraft was the first N.Z. built plane to receive full Aerobatic Certificate of Airworthiness. Print is matted and framed in a gold frame.
