Description
Slide Ruler held in a green, textured, oblong box. The lid can be removed from the right end. The box has has an embossed border and the text, "[scales logo] A.W. FABER / CASTELL / ELEKTRO 1/98" on the front. On the lid is an embossed border and diamond. On the short edge on the lid of the box is the text "CASTELL / 1/98 / MADE IN GERMANY".

The slide rule is white in appearance and detailed with various scales on the top and two side edges. On the right side is a clear plastic adustable slide which can be moved across the ruler. The middle section of the ruler can also be moved horizontally.

Underneath the slide rule are two circular indents at each end. A sticker runs along the bottom of the ruler. Printed on the sticker is "Copyright / [scales logo] A.W. FABER- CASTELL / Pencil Works / STEIN near Nuremburg". Various measurements are detailed on the sticker. Below this sticker is the engraving "51 / MADE IN GERMANY".
