"This service manual for ASEA's industrial robot IRb-6 is intended primarily for use during maintenance, fault tracing and repair work on ASEA's robot systems. The first edition of the service manual was issued in 1978. Since then a number of changes have been made to the robot system and to the greatest possible extent these changes have been incorporated into the present (1981) edition... the manual is divided into two main sections; one part relating to the electrical system and the others to the mechanical system. The electrical section covers the control cabinet with relevant programming equipment, whereas the mechanical section deals with the robot itself." - introduction.
