Floppy Disk: Black, square, plastic floppy disc containing Commodore 64 game "Ghostbusters" in maxell envelope.
Disc carries sticker with maker's sticker "No. / Load "*",8,1 / maxell / MINI-FLOPPY DISK / MINIDISKETTE / MINI-DISQUE SOUPLE / MD1-D / JAPAN-JAPON".
Envelope has printed text in black “maxell / MINI-FLOPPY DISK / MINIDISKETTE / MINI-DISQUE SOUPLE”; and hand-written on cover "Ghostbusters Load “*",8,1”. Disk protection advice on back with pictures and captions and maker's information “maxell / Maxell Europe GmbH / […] / Made in Japan […]”.
Inside envelope is a small piece of paper with handwritten information regarding track errors and another regarding how to load game.
Brief History
Based on the movie 'Ghostbusters' this game was released in 1984, following on from the success of the film. Designed by David Crane and published by Activision, Ghostbusters became a top seller and regularly topped game sales during the latter years of the 1980s.
