Description
Vehicle Mould [Lower chassis, Heron MJ1]. Rectangular grey resin and fibreglass mould mounted on steel, four legged mobile manufacturing frame with castors on each foot.

Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
