Vehicle Mould [Left Side Door Mould and Inner Skin, Heron MJ1]. Left side door mould and skin.
Door Mould: Rectangular fibreglass mould painted grey. Slight depression in door that gets deeper towards bottom. Sits inside other mould.
Door Skin: Rectangular fibreglass mould painted grey. Slight depression in door that gets deeper towards bottom. Sits inside other mould.
Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
