Description
Vehicle Mould [Underside of Steering Column, Heron MJ1]. Telstar Variant. Rectangular shaped fibreglass mould with deep square impression in centre and rounded lip on one side. One side painted with black epoxy paint, the other side in tan. "HERON MJ1 / "telstar" / Variant" hand written on back.

Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
