Description
Vehicle Mould [Dashboard Top, Heron MJ1]]. Variant dashboard top moulds (2 pieces). Fibreglass mould for casting top of dashboard.
Part one is a rectangular shaped mould curved at ends, tan upper surface that is marked in black pen "Heron MJ1 / Variant", black reverse surface.
Part two is a rectangular shaped mould with large central hole in mould, rectangular piece of wood attached to back and curved edges, black reverse with tan front wood painted grey. This piece marked in black "Waxes".

Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
