Vehicle Mould [Back Bumper, Early Model, Heron MJ1]. Fibreglass and resin mould for casting for early model of the back bumper. Long rectangular shaped mould with long depression and cut out for licence plate. Metal bracing around edges. Black resin surface.
Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
