Description
Fibreglass and resin mould for casting exterior left hand door for the interior facing side. Includes indentation for pocket, arm rest, door handle and window winding arm. Mould is attached on grey fibreglass side to a heavy metal bracket frame composed of two arms perpendicular to door connected by one central arm.
Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
