Footed ceramic water urn/vessel with combed decorative lines in two sections at the top of the vessel. Earthernware with no glaze.Single drilled hole in the bottom, possibly from manufacture. Neck of urn has been broken from the rest of the vessel. Single loop handle attached to neck has been permanently lost. Price of 2.50 has been written onto neck of vessel. Purchased by Ivan and Beth Hodge during their first trip from England to New Zealand via Iran and India in 1961 as told in their publication "For Love and a Beetle".
