Recto only: Copy from a photograph that shows a view of Parnell with Stanley Street in the foreground. Left foreground shows railway bridge over the street Parnell Rise with the Strand hotel on the corner of Parnell Rise and Stanley Street. The Public Service Garage would later be built to the right of the Strand Hotel. The lower left foreground shows Waipapa Marae.
