Contains: an incomplete copy of the Daily Pictorial, which includes a photograph of the Southern Cross on the cover headlined "The Southern Cross and her goal, New York" dated 26 June 1930. On the cover is a postmark stamp, an Australian postage stamp and it is addressed to R. H. K. Smith in San Francisco, California. Also in this folder are sundry newspaper clippings related to the flights of Charles Kingsford Smith with mention of John Stannage, Evert Van Dyk, J. P. Saul, and Patrick Gordon Taylor with an approximate date range of 1930-1935 (mostly June 1930 and May 1935).
