Description
1. Pilot's log book for Squadron Leader / Warrant Officer Stoneman published by the Royal Canadian Air Force. Includes log entries for flights as well as records of service with aircraft flown. The duty column of the last flight log entry is filled out "Operations to Hamburg" followed by the stamp "death presumed / Jun 1947". Stoneman and crew did not return from their operations for the Bombing of Hamburg / Operation Gomorrah after the aircraft Lancaster III ED645 PM-F crashed south of Harburg.
2. Loose typed list titled "Rules for making up log book." Certification section signed by Stoneman and dated 27 August 1942. Glued to this list is a second list titled "Pilot's flying log book / standard entries".
