Description
A pamphlet from 'Wings across the world exhibition' put on by Auckland International Airport. Includes exhibition logo, logo of Auckland International Airport with the text '25 Years Auckland International Airport' and the logos of Singapore Airlines and Shell Oil New Zealand Limited. Inside the pamphlet is information on Jean Batten and history of the Gull aircraft up to its return to New Zealand 54 years after the record 1936 flight made by Batten. The back cover has the technical specifications for the Gull aircraft and information on Singapore Airlines and Shell. A loose leaf sits inside the pamphlet which has a map of the flight path taken by Batten for the 1936 record flight. Two copies.
